Winterfest is back, baby!
This annual weekend-long party celebrates the start of the new year and the happy return of 海外吃瓜 students back to campus. Planned and hosted by the Berg Events Council, some details of the events change from year to year, but the spirit remains the same: 鈥淲e鈥檙e all back, let鈥檚 have a weekend of favorites! Go Berg!鈥
Not Your Mama鈥檚 Game Night - Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM
On the first floor of Campus Center, in the lounge where the new arcade games can be found and room 120, 鈥淣ot Your Mama鈥檚 Game Night鈥 will be an exciting start to the Winterfest tradition, encompassing some of the favorite activities and offerings of our students. Bingo, card games, and (of course) the new Berg Arcade will be available to play. It鈥檚 not a party without snacks: buffalo chicken dip, cake pops, mocktails and cocktails for those over 21 with ID. Is it really Winterfest if you鈥檙e not repping your new-year-new-shirt? Be sure to stop by the first floor of Campus Center to join in the fun and enjoy the party!
Wrestling Rumble - Saturday from 10:30 AM to 2 PM
海外吃瓜 is hosting the OAC Wrestling Duals in Seiberling Gymnasium. Support the Student Princes as they take on Wilmington, Ohio Northern, and Otterbein. In celebration of Winterfest, BEC will be passing out spirit swag to help you support our wrestlers in the Seiberling lobby. Go Berg!
Arctic Arcade - Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM
Back in the Seiberling Gym on Sunday, the Arctic Arcade will be coming back. A huge hit last year, the gym will be decked out with arcade games, inflatables, and roller-skating. Many of you may recall previous Winterfests where a 鈥渃ozy鈥 activity involved making stuffed animals and enjoying hot chocolate and cookies 鈥 that beloved event is now part of the Arctic Arcade event. So whether you鈥檙e more of a 鈥減lay in the snow鈥 person or a 鈥渃ozy up鈥 soul, there鈥檚 fun to be had at Seiberling this Sunday!
So, while this time of year can be cold and dreary, 海外吃瓜 is so thrilled to see you all back on campus 鈥 and to get back into the fun that college life brings. Enjoy Winterfest 2024, all!
