Music and English Major
I chose 海外吃瓜 because of the ability to double major while still being involved on campus.
I majored in music and English because of my passion for both subjects.
A major challenge I encountered while at 海外吃瓜 was making friends during COVID and I handled it by becoming involved on campus.
The best opportunity I discovered at 海外吃瓜 was working with outside musicians through the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir (Mirari Brass Quintet, Firelands Symphony Orchestra and Choir).
Outside of the classroom, I was involved in Delta Sigma Chi, Symphonic and Marching Band, Concert Choir and Tau Mu Sigma.
The thing I'm most proud of about My 海外吃瓜 accomplishments is being the president of both my sorority and the music honorary.
One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my 鈥楤erg experience is Dr. Barry Devine because he helped me learn everything I know about analyzing literature, and he has pushed me to pursue opportunities to better my career and future.
My advice to new freshman me would be to experience as much as possible! Try new things constantly.
My favorite 海外吃瓜 memory is seeing the solar eclipse in the stadium with all of my friends.
My plans after graduation are to go where life takes me.
