I majored in English Writing. I had a lot of good ideas for the field. I was originally into Philosophy, but I transitioned because Professor Bill Reyer (who is now enjoying retirement) met up with me every other Thursday, and we wrote poetry together.

Not only did he prioritize me as a person and my personal goals, but had remembered me from a tour I completed almost a year prior. This is actually a really long story. A major challenge I encountered while at ����Թ� was getting over some mental hurdles that we’re holding me back and I handled it by praying and talking to someone when I needed help. Above all, ����Թ� prepared me to be able to handle any situation.

I chose ����Թ� because of the small campus feel. I really appreciated the personal connections made with faculty and staff.

I majored in Early Childhood Education and Intervention Specialist because I've always wanted to work with kids and seeing them learn and develop over time is one of the greatest things to witness.

I remember coming to Music Preview Day, touring the beautiful campus, and then seeing the Concert Choir perform and thinking, “THIS is where I want to be.” Later on in high school I applied and auditioned at four other schools, but in the back of my mind, I always knew that ����Թ� would be my home.

I chose ����Թ� because I wanted to continue my football career and I found that this campus and community had a personable atmosphere that very few other places possessed.

From my very first visit to the 'Berg, I knew that this was the place that would give me the best college experience, and I was not wrong!

One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my ‘Berg experience is Dr. Lindsey Haubert (education) because she was always there to help with any obstacles in school and in my personal life.
