Kathy first started at º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï as an employee in the Admission Office. After her two children Dr. Ian Borton and Mrs. Amber (Borton) Plikerd graduated from º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï, she decided to pursue her own education. As a student, she enjoyed her membership in the Delta Mu Delta, Business Honorary and the º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï Honor Society. The wonderful support and fun relationships with her professors made her college experience amazing! She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business from º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï in 2013 and was promoted to an Admission Counselor after graduation. She truly enjoys working with high school students and watching them grow here at the ‘Berg!

Why º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï

I chose º£Íâ³Ô¹Ï because I witnessed how my children were treated as students plus I watched them develop very personal relationships with their professors.  I knew I would receive the same treatment when I decided to pursue my own education.

I am an honorary member of both the Alpha Phi Tau fraternity and the Philalethean Society sorority because I like to help people.
